SUNDAY AUG, 29th- Gross, Radisch, Germany: By the end of the evening spent with Janet’s German family (who pretty much only speak German- except her brother), apparently her father liked me so much he offered to drink whiskProxy-Connection: keep-alive

SATURDAY 28th, Prague Castle, Prague: My zombie friend made in Prague- about 500 other zombie dancers were present. This photo is taken right after they performed Michael's, "Thriller" dance- it was FREAKIN' awesome!

SATURDAY AUG, 28th Prague: Made a new friend in Prague, Katie from Gary, Indiana y'all!

AUG 28th, Prague: Man, I love PRAGUE!!

FRIDAY Aug, 27th Gross Radisch: Delicious blueberry cake made by Janet's mother. It is SO AMAZING- the woman picked the berries this morning and then made a FREAKIN' cake. God, I'm lovin' European country women, haha :)

FRIDAY Aug, 27th Gross Radisch: The berries she picked- cran and blue, HMMM!!

WEDNESDAY AUG, 25th Berlin: Okay, so our waiter felt bad for not having anymore potatoes left and offered to give us a drink (alllll this was said in German), of course being one who loves a good drink every now and again I said, "ist gut, danke." I didn't realize that what he was offering was a SHOT of something German, however it tasted like Russian Vodka! It was quite intense, but who wants to waste a perfectly good shot- especially when in Berlin!! LOL.

WEDNESDAY AUG, 25th Sachsenhausen, Germany: In front of the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp- 'nuff said. Purposefully, the camp is in focus rather than me.

WEDNESDAY AUG, 25th Sachsenhausen, Germany: Artwork done by a "prisoner" at the Camp- he was a potatoe peeler. He created this while the guards were unaware and it was not discovered until after the closing of the camp. How AMAZING!

The days in between- I was sick with a slight cold- and I don’t think you want to see those photos, lol. Thanks for stopping by, hopefully now you feel allll caught up! Sorry it’s been a while, I was without out my computer while in Berlin :) Cheers! A bientot!

So, This is Chocolate!

Here are some photo highlights from a trip to the nearby chocolate factory called, Valrhona! While there I watched a documentary. It commented on the long journey the chocolate had taken from Venezuela to France. It definitely got me thinking of all the injustices surrounding the chocolate industry- which I’d love to talk to you about. Please share any thoughts or insights if you have them. However, I’ll have to save mine for another post. Tonight we’ll be merry, laugh at these pics of, “chocolate bikers racing through the Tour de France“- and eat something yummy which God created- CHOCOLATE!!…The first photo is of a piece of chocolate I bit into and discovered that it had alcohol inside! Lol.

Crepes! And one very well fed American

I’m sorry it’s been so long! Thanks for stopping by. I have to tell you, there are many things I enjoy about being in France. However, one particular something I’m loving most is the yummy food. And the way that the French know so well which foods and ingredients taste awesome together! Tonight for dinner, Sophie- the mamma bird in the house- made crepes. Oh my Lordie, mine was so yummy. Avec quatre fromages, jambon, et bacon, et un oeuf! Oh mama, it was really good. And Louise-the nine year old in the house- educated me on how to eat my crepe properly. She cut off a piece and while holding it in one hand with a fork, with her other hand she dabbed her knife into the yellow egg yolk and slathered it onto the the initial piece of crepe. Then said, “Comme ca (like this!).” Hmmmm mmm, she was right! Thus, when I return home to the States I will be one very well fed American Woman! Here’s my yum crepe…

What Mine Eyes Have Seen!

I have so much to write and many pictures to update you with, however I am sooooper whipped after just getting back from a couple days at the French RIVIERA, ahhh! Can NOT believe I just wrote/said those words! It was really beautiful and actually more than the Riviera, I really enjoyed Marseilles and found it so lovely! I was atop one of the most beautiful spots mine eyes have ever seen and I’m sure it is one of the most beautifully crafted and created formations in the WORLD- It’s got to be! Oh!…And just so you know, I haven’t forgotten about the “WHY THE TOWER OF BABEL”- I really am going somewhere with that post, I promise :) Now, before I go to bed here is a photo of me in Cassis, France atop the highest peak in France!
